Man Shoots Himself At Las Vegas Casino After Being Banned For Life

John NobleThere have been a number of shootings during the past few weeks at casinos all over the country and over two of them have resulted in fatalities. The most recent shooting occurred at the M Resort Spa and Casino in Las Vegas, when an individual decided to take his own life on Easter Sunday.

The man shot and killed himself around 5 pm close to the buffet area at the M Resort Spa and Casino. Investigations revealed that the deceased individual was John Noble, who was a frequent visitor to the casino. A few years back Noble won a prize that guaranteed him “free meals for life” at the casino, a prize which he really cherished.

However, his right to “free meals for life” was recently withdrawn after casino officials found Noble guilty of harassing and threatening other patrons and co-workers. He was also banned from visiting the casino due to his aggressive behaviour.

Noble had put together a package that contained 300 pages of notes, photos and a DVD which he sent to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The package revealed that Noble fell into a deep depression once the casino took away his “free meals for life” reward and banned him from entering its premises. Noble wrote

Today, I end my life due to the M Resort Spa Casino and its employees

On the 31st of March 2013, a woman called the authorities to the casino and registered a complaint against Noble stating that he was stalking her and had even threatened to kill her. Noble was arrested and sent to a psychiatric hospital where he spent 3 days. He was also accused of repeatedly harassing casino staff and making a nuisance of himself. Due to this, the casino decided to revoke his reward of “free meals for life” and ban him from visiting the casino.

Noble planned his suicide by sending across his suicide note to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, then setting fire to his car at the casino’s parking garage and lastly visiting the buffet area and shooting himself. Noble’s last act was carefully planned to highlight the fact that he felt the M Resort Spa and Casino had not treated him fairly and had gone back on their promise. The M Resort Spa and Casino did not make any comment on the matter as an investigation is currently in progress.
