Iowa’s Horseshoe Casino Currently Hosting RunGood Poker Series

The Horseshoe Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa is currently hosting the RunGood Poker Series which is taking place from the 26th – 30th of August. The casino is located near Omaha, Nebraska and is expected to draw some of the top poker players in the nation. The main event at the RunGood Poker Series comes with a $100,000 guarantee which has a $675 buy-in. The winner of the main event will be given a special “Road to the RunGood Cup” Seiko Watch.

There are also a number of other exciting events lined up including a 2 day $180 DeepStack $25,000 guaranteed tournament, a $200 Bounty Tournament where each winner will be presented with a $2,000 RunGood VIP Championship Package. The final nine players at the main event will also be given the $2,000 RunGood VIP Championship Package.

This special package includes a hotel stay, a travel allowance, a RunGood Championship seat and a special Road to the RunGood Cup hat and backpack along with special invites to VIP events. The 2014 RunGood Poker Series Horseshoe Council Bluffs went off extremely well as 426 players registered for the event, creating a prize pool of $251,340. The main event was won by Henry Gingerich who took home prize money of $39,083 and also received a $10,000 seat into the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event.
