Inspired Signs Virtual Sports Deal With Resorts Digital Gaming

UK virtual sports company Inspired recently announced that it has signed with a second deal in New Jersey with the Resorts Digital Gaming. Inspired will now supply virtual games to the casino using Spin’s RGS system. The company had finalized a similar deal with the Golden Nugget casino a few weeks ago, becoming the first company in the U.S to supply virtual sports to casinos.

London-based Inspired is a premier gaming company offering server-based gaming systems to over 30 countries, operating more than 50,000 machines. In addition to virtual sports, Inspired offers mobile games and video lottery games. Some of its top clients include Genting, Betfred, Ladbrokes , bet365 and Paddy Power.

Inspired recently received a Casino Service Industry Enterprise License from New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) and is also working to get the other required certifications, which will authorize the company to be a technology provider for the state’s gaming industry.

Due to its partnership with Inspired, Resorts Digital Gaming will now be able to offer its patrons for the first time a wide range of virtual sports including Rush Horse Racing, Rush Football (Soccer) and Rush Car Racing. Inspired recently entered into an agreement with Spin Games to use its HTML5 RGS (remote game server) called The ROC (Robust Online Client), which it will be leveraging for its operations at both the Golden Nugget and Resorts Casino in New Jersey.

Resorts is already a pioneer of iGaming Lounges and will soon be the first casino to broadcast virtual sports from the internet to its premises. The games will be made available both via desktops and mobile platforms.

Ed Andrewes, CEO of EAGCC which manages Resorts Digital Gaming said that the company was launching a unique product that was tailor-made for its unique iGaming Lounge at its casino Resorts Casino in Atlantic City.

According to Phil Katsaros , Inspired’s Head of Business Development, N. America, Virtual Sports is a game changer for casinos. He said that Resorts would be the first to offer a converged gaming product in which players from Resorts would be able to wager on online events.
