EGT Consolidates Position With Key Monaco Casino Operator SBM
Bulgarian gaming equipment supplier Euro Games Technology (EGT) has announced that it has successfully supplied a second large order of gaming machines to two casinos in Monaco. The two casinos were the Café de Paris and Sun Casino.
In the latest order, EGT delivered 42 slots and 24 multiplayer gaming stations to the two establishments.
The installation is said to the largest ever handled by a local gaming supplier. EGT had earlier supplied 18 machines to the same casinos last year.
With this fulfilment, EGT has become a key partner for casino operator SBM (Societe de Bains de Mer) which owns both the casinos in conjunction with the state of Monaco and other stakeholders like Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd which is one of the major operators in Macau. The state government controls a 34 percent stake in the casino operator.

As a part of the deal, EGT provided Sun Casino with 42 slot machines from its Premier series including the series P-27/32H and P-27/27 St Slim cabinets that are linked to Lady’s Cards jackpot and also house the Premier Multi-3, 4, 5, and 6 multigames. The machines additionally have the Orange, Green and Fruits gaming libraries of the Collection series.
In a statement Alain Assenza and Christian Barilaro from the management team of Sun Casino, said
The quality, both hardware and software, of these models and their gaming appeal took our players by storm and exceeded our expectations ranking among the best as performance in our casinos. It is a real success, being very attractive for our customers, so we are confident that it will repay with [attracting] a large number of clients.
The P-42V St slot machines were set up with the new 4 Happy Hits game as well as the Chinese-themed Fu GuiRong Hua. The game Diamond Life was housed in the P-24/32H cabinet.
Six Super Premier cabinets installed earlier along with their Green, Orange and Fruits Collection multigame mixes have gained great popularity at the Sun. Other well-received gaming machines include the Premier R8 automated roulette of 8 player’s positions, the eight STORK terminals, and the Rigel R multigame mix.
Borislav Prokopiev, regional sales manager of EGT for France, Monaco and Belgium expressed delight at the brand’s expansion in the country. He pointed out that the latest installations made EGT one of the premier gaming suppliers of the region for high-end gaming facilities.
